Datagate: Add Services and Products

Scope

Intended Audience: Finance Department

This article outlines how to add services and products to Datagate customers

 

Requirements

  • Access to Datagate
  • Access to Manager Portal
 

Add Service Items

  1. Log in to Datagate
  2. Go to Customers, then search for the name of your client and click on it
  3. Go to Service Items tab
  4. Click the + icon
  5. Fill out the following information:
    1. Service Item: Domain name of the client 
      1. Note: You can check this in the client’s Manager Portal.
      2. Note: Include the Reseller ID if it shows in the online portal. If it does not, just put the domain name that shows in the Manager Portal
    2. Aliases: Copy what you put in the service item and click add 
    3. Service: Choose Tollfree and Tolls
      Note: You have to repeat this process to be able to do them both
    4. From: The day you start billing their usage
  6. Click Save

Add Rate Card

  1. Go to the Assignments tab
  2. Click the + icon
  3. Fill out the following information:
    1. Rating Item: Outbound and Inbound (Non TF) Call Rates
    2. Site: Leave this blank
    3. Service Item: All Service Items
    4. From: The day you start billing their usage
  4. Click Save

Add Products

  1. Go to the Products tab
  2. Click + > Add Product 
    1. Note: Add Product Kit is created in the Kit Templates, it’s essentially a bundle of products for different price rather than having the product separated out
  3. Fill out the following information:
    1. Product Template: Choose the product
      1. Note: Once you have chosen, it will automatically populate the rest of the information
    2. From: The day you start billing their usage
    3. Allow ProRata: If something changes, bill can be prorated

  4. Click Save
