These are answers to the most frequently asked questions in regard to the Datagate Billing Platform.
- Can I export invoices from Datagate?
a. Yes, you can export invoices to Autotask, Quickbooks Online, Xero, and Connectwise Manage
- Does Datagate include Tax Compliance services?
a. No, we do not provide this service and it is not included with the platform. We are more than happy to send an intro email to our compliance partner, CLA.
- Can I do custom branding in the Datagate platform?
a. Yes, you can add your logo to invoices as well as brand the customer portal with your logo and color scheme. You are not able to brand the admin portal.
- Can I add my own cost recovery fee or surcharge?
a. Yes, you can add your own fees/surcharges to your invoices. You also have the ability to pick and choose what customers get the surcharge applied to them.
- Do I need a payment processor in order to receive credit card payments through the portal? Is it required?
a. It is not required for Datagate to function and create invoices. One will be needed in order to collect payments via Credit Card or ACH.
- What payment processors integrate with Datagate?
a. Authorize.net, Digitzs, IPPay, and Stripe
- Can I set up my MSP services in Datagate?
a. Yes, while we already provide you with basic already tax-mapped VOIP products, you have the ability to add in your own products. Keep in mind, you will need to tax map them on your own.
- Can I generate quotes from Datagate?
a. No, this functionality is not available in Datagate. However, this can be completed in OneBill.
- Will Datagate automatically invoice for usage from the Manager Portal?
a. Yes! You have the ability to set up the functionality of invoicing usage for your customers directly from the Manager Portal.
