Yealink T4xS: Connect a Jabra Engage 75 Using EHS36 or Micro USB

Scope:
This doc will show you how to connect and set up a Jabra Engage 75 to a Yealink T4xS using EHS 36 or Micro USB.
Requirements:
- Jabra Engage 75
- Yealink T4xS
- EHS 36 or Micro USB
- Ethernet Cable
- RJ11 Cable
- RJ12 Cable
Connecting the Jabra Engage 75 (EHS 36)
- With everything out of the box and the Jabra connected to power, connect the EHS36 (the side with extra port [dot]) to headset base AUX port using an ethernet cable.
- Connect the EXT port on the Yealink to the EHS36 adapter (side without the extra port) using an RJ12 cable.
- Connect the Headset port on the Yealink to the blue headset port on the headset base.
Configuring the Jabra Engage 75 (EHS 36)
- Firstly, select the language you want the Jabra to be in, then select start setup.
- Select yes to set up a desk phone.
- Select confirm, to confirm that all of the cables are connected.
- It will reboot and update.
- Once it comes back up, select the EHS adapter, for this step you can select any of them.
- When it asks you to put on the headset, take it off of the base and press ok.
- Now that the headset is off of the base, on the Yealink T4xS lift the handset and confirm that on the base of the Jabra.
- Once you click the headset button, then you should hear the dial tone in the headset.
- Click Yes to confirm that you could hear the dial tone in the headset on the base.
- Select no, when prompted to if you would like to set up and mobile phone.
- The base will reboot and once it is up, hold the menu button for more than two seconds, which will give you the advanced menu.
- When on the advanced menu, scroll to desk phone and select yes.
- Select yes, on start setup.
- Scroll down until you get to EHS Mode and select "Auto" as the mode.
- Scroll back and the base will reboot.
- While it is rebooting, unplug the EHS from the phone and plug it back in.
- Now, if you click the green phone button on the Jabra base the phone should go on hook.
- There are 2 Connection Methods. USB Method is preferred
Connecting the Jabra Engage 75 (Micro USB)
- With the base already connected to power, connect the base to the phone using a Micro USB. (Make sure that you connect the USB cable into the USB port that does not have the computer icon.)
Configuring the Jabra Engage 75 (Micro USB)
- Select a language you want the Jabra to be in and do not select setup.
- The base is already configured for USB desk phones and does not require the setup wizard.
Low Audio Issue Fix
- Change "Clear Dial Tone" setting was set to "E" by default. Jabra recommended changing that setting to "A".
- Change the "Lift Type" from Auto to DHSG
- Rebooted the Jabra Base
