Grandstream: Manual Provisioning

Scope
Intended Audience: Client or T1 and higher
The following steps will allow you to manually provision a Grandstream desk phone. For TLS Provisioning visit HTTP Provisioning over TLS
Requirements
- Access to the phone or web GUI
- It is recommended to Factory Reset the handset before provisioning
- Phone's MAC address must have already been entered in the Manage Portal
- Global Username and Password provided by support.
Configure Provisioning Server from Handset
- From the phone press the Select (center) button
- Using the arrow buttons scroll right to get to System. Press the Select button
- Scroll down to Upgrade. Press the Select button
- Scroll down to Config Server and press the Select button
- Erase the text in the field and replace with ndp.ucaasnetwork.com/cfg
- Press the Save soft button at the bottom of the screen
- You will receive a notice that your configuration settings have been saved
- Press the Back soft button twice
- Scroll to Reboot and press the Select button
- Press the Yes soft button
- Your phone will now reboot and pull the new configuration from the provisioning server
Configure Provisioning Server from Web GUI
- From the phone press the Menu button
- Using the arrow buttons scroll right to get to Status. Press the Select button
- Scroll down to Network Status and press the Select button
- You will find the IPv4 Address of the phone
- Using any web browser navigate to the IPv4 Address from the previous step
- Log in to the web GUI with admin/admin and click on the Login button
- From the top menu click on MAINTENANCE and then Upgrade and Provisioning
Change Upgrade via to HTTP
- In Config Server Path enter the provisioning URL for your domain
Config Server Path: ndp.ucaasnetwork.com/cfg

Leave all other settings as their defaults. Replace Global Username and Global Password with the ones provided by support. - Scroll to the bottom and click Save and Apply
- Scroll to the top of the screen and click Provision
- Your phone should download the configuration and reboot within 60 seconds. If it does not reboot then you can reboot the phone manually
Troubleshooting
If your phone does not provision with the v2 address try using 136.175.207.44/cfg
