Setting Unanswered calls to External Number's Voicemail

Intended Audience: All End Users
This article will explain how to set a user's answering rule if unanswered, to forward to the external number's voicemail rather than the extension's voicemail.
Requirements
- Access to PBX
- User's Answering Rule is set to forward to an external number
- Log into the PBX
- Click the Users tab & click the User
- Once you are on the User's profile, click Answering Rules
- Click the dropdown for the Ring Time
- Set the ring time to 35 seconds
- Anything below that will result in a “You have entered an invalid destination number. Please enter the destination mailbox” message.
- Once clicked, it will automatically save
