Applying a Credit or Adjustment

Scope
The following steps will show you how to apply a credit or adjustment to the account and at the invoice level.
Requirements:
- Access to OneBill
Applying to Subscriber Account
- Navigate to Customer > Subscribers and select the desired subscriber profile.
- Click on Apply Adjustment on the upper right-hand side of the screen next to the account balance.
- Enter the following information:
- Adjustment Date: Enter the date you would like to apply the adjustment for.
- Apply: Enter the amount you would like to adjust the account for.
- Select Credit or Debit
- Amount to: Select the product you would like to add the adjustment to. This field is optional. You can leave it at the default.
- Select reason: Choose a reason for the adjustment from the list provided.

Reason Description: Enter information to justify the adjustment. This is an optional field and is for your records.
- Once the above steps are complete, click on Apply Adjustment.
Applying to Invoice
- Navigate to the Subscriber
- Select the cog icon next to the invoice you wish to adjust in the Invoices tab and click Adjust
- Enter the following information:
- Apply: Enter the amount you would like to adjust the account for.
- Select Credit or Debit
- Select reason: Choose a reason for the adjustment from the list provided.

- Once the above steps are complete, click on Apply Adjustment.
