View Phone's Contact IP

Scope
The following will show you how to obtain the Contact. This can help you determine if your Desk Phone has a contact with Public IP instead of Private IP, which indicates you may have SIP ALG or Double NAT occurring.
Requirements:
Access to Manager Portal
Basic User
- Log in to the Manager Portal.
- Once logged in navigate over to the Phones tab.
- Hover over the IP Address for a particular device. This IP Address will be the Public IP of your device.
- A pop will appear with the following information:
- Extension Number
- Contact IP:Port Number
- If this device is a Desk Phone, you would want the Contact IP to be a Private IP Address.
Office Manager
- Log in to the Manager portal.
- Once logged in navigate over to the Users tab.
- Select a particular User.
- Click on Phones
- Hover over the IP Address for a particular device.
- This IP Address will be the Public IP of your device.
- A pop will appear with the following information:
- Extension Number
- Contact IP:Port Number
- If this device is a Desk Phone, you would want the Contact IP to be a Private IP Address.
