Requirement
- Access to your Telnyx account.
- Log into your Telnyx account
- Navigate to Voice > SIP Trunking
- Locate the desired connection that will be updated with the tech prefix, and press the edit button for Basic Options on the right hand side.
- Under the SIP Connection Type section, locate the Outbound settings and click on Expert IP Settings to reveal additional settings.
- Once clicked, you should now see the option to enter a Tech Prefix.
- Enter the last 4 digits of the territory identifier as the tech prefix ie. 1234. The territory identifier is in the format of xxxxx.service, where you will be using the last 4 digits of xxxxx
NOTE: Telnyx only supports a 4 digit technical prefix, you will be unable to save the changes if it is more or less than 4 digits.
