Scope
Intended Audience: Telco Services and Client Success Departments
This article outlines how to remove a DID from mFax and disconnect DID from a FaxBridge.
Requirements
- Access to mFax Portal
Remove DID from mFax Portal
- Log in to mFax Portal
- Navigate to Numbers
- Set to All platform and place the 10-digit DID
- Select the DID
- Select Assign Sub Account
- Under search select OITVOIP
- Select OK
- Click Release
Disconnect DID from a FaxBridge
- Search the DID
- Select the FaxBridge icon
- Navigate to Fax Number
- Select Remove number
Remove User
- Login to the mfax portal and find the users tab on the left navigation
- Search for the user by their email and check all users that will need to be removed
NOTE: Make sure you are searching under All Platform and not limiting the search to your account.
- Click Delete Selected
- A warning message will appear. Click Delete to proceed with removing the users.
Remove Account
- After removing all the users associated with the account, click on Accounts from the navigation bar
- Search for the Account Name
- Click on the verticle ellipsis and Delete the account
- A warning message will appear. Click Delete to proceed with deleting the account
Remove Reseller Account
- After the subaccounts have been migrated off of the reseller account, search for the reseller under the Accounts tab:
- Click on the verticle ellipsis and Delete the account
- A warning message will appear. Click Delete to proceed with removing the Reseller account
