Grandstream: Call Park Manual Configuration
Scope:
This guide uses the Directed Call Park method by configuring a Grandstream Multipurpose Key (MPK) to transfer a call to a directed park orbit. The MPK Key on a Grandstream phone may be configured via the device's web UI, SNAPbuilder, or by remotely provisioning the phone using overrides in the Provisioning Server (NDP).
Requirements:
- Access to the Manager Portal
- Access to the Phone's Web GUI
Configure the MPK Key to Park Button
- Find the IP address of the phone and log in using any web browser.
- Default login is admin / admin
- Mouse over Settings > Programmable Keys > Virtual Multi-Purpose Keys or Programmable Keys.
- Virtual Multi-Purpose Keys: These are they keys next to the screen of the phone.
- Programmable Keys: These are the keys on the bottom right of the phone with the lights on them.
- Set the Mode to Busy Lamp Field (BLF)
- Set the Description to anything descriptive
- Set the Value to the extension number of the parking
- Repeat above steps for each of the parking extension.
- Click Save and Apply when finished
- Click on Accounts > Account 1 > SIP Settings > Advanced Features
- Set Force BLF Call-pickup by prefix to Enabled
- Set BLF Call-pickup Prefix to *35
- Click Save and Apply
