SNOM: Multicast Paging Setup

Scope:
The following steps will allow you to set up Multicast Paging on both the sender and receiver on Snom D785 phones. This will enable to you speak to receivers.
Requirements:
- Access to the Snom D785 Phone's UI
- Access to the Manager Portal
Configure Paging Sender via Override
- Log onto the Manager Portal
- Go to Inventory > Phone Hardware
- Click Edit for the device you would like to setup
- Go to Advanced > Overrides and enter the following:
NOTE: These overrides are for soft key context 3 and will replace the help button on the LCD screen
multicast_listen="on" mc_address1="224.0.1.116:5001,volmax=1,name=main" context_key3="keyevent F_ZONES"
- Click Save and Resync
Configure Paging Sender via Web GUI
- Obtain the IP address of the phone and log onto the Web GUI
- Go to Function Keys > Context-Sensitive Keys
- Select Type as Key Event, Number as Multicast Zones
- Click Apply at the bottom of the page and click Save Changes located at the top of the page
