Yeastar S: Connect a SIP Trunk

Scope:
Intended Audience: WLP Clients
The following steps will allow you to create a SIP Trunk with your hosted PBX for use on the Yeastar S series platform using IP or User based authentication and default inbound and outbound routes.
Requirements:
- This has been tested on version s20, 50 and 100
- Administrator privileges to the web console
- SIP trunk information ( Create a SIP Trunk )
Create an IP based SIP Trunk
Follow this step if the client has a Static IP
- Using Chrome or Firefox navigate to the web interface of the PBX.
- Click on Setting Icon
- Log in with your administrator credentials.
- From the navigation at the left select PBX and then Trunks.
- Click on Add and fill out the following
- Name: Name of the trunk ( Recommended: same name as the trunk name you created )
- Trunk Type : Peer Trunk
- Protocol: SIP
- Hostname/IP: <SBC FQDN> (ie: sbc.ucaasnetwork.com)
- Domain: Name of the trunk you created in Manager Portal (Not the domain name the trunk belongs to )
- Transport: UDP
- Leave everything else default
- Click Save
- Follow steps 4 to 5 for the remaining SBC FQDN listed here
- Apply Configuration for the changes to take effect
Create a User Based Authentication Trunk
Use this if the client has dynamic ip address.
- Navigate to PBX -> Trunks
- Click Addand fill out the following
- Name: Name of the trunk ( Recommended: same name as the trunk name you created )
- Trunk Type: Register Trunk
- Protocol: SIP
- Transport: DNS-NAPTR
- Hostname: Domain name ( This is the domain name where the trunk is assigned )
- Username: SIP Username ( Trunk SIP Username)
- Password: SIP Password ( Trunk SIP Password )
- Ensure Enable Outbound Proxy is checked
- Enter your home node SBC FQDN in Outbound proxy server field
- Enter port as 5060
- Click Save
- Apply Configuration for the changes to take effect
Configure Default Inbound Routes
- Navigate to PBX -> Call Control.
- Click Inbound Routes tab
- Click Add, fill out the following
- Name: Default Inbound Route ( Something descriptive )
- DID Pattern: Leave default
- Member Trunks: Select all available trunks you created listed in available and click the arrow button to move them to selected window
- Scroll Down to Destination Section and select the treatment
- Hang up, Extension, Voicemail, Extension Range, IVR, Ring Group, Queue, Conference, and External Number
- Click Save
- Apply Configuration for the changes to take effect
Configure Outbound Routes
- Navigate to PBX -> Call Control
- Click Outbound Routes tab
- Click Add, fill out the following
- Name: Default Outbound Route
- Dial Pattern: Leave Default
- Member Trunks: Select the SBC Trunks you created and order them by priority based on your home node (ie: sbc-west -> sbc -> sbc-ne )
- Click Save
- Apply Configuration to save changes.
