Scope

Product templates are a time-saving tool for you to easily create new products for your customers without filling out the fields from scratch.

Requirements

Access to Datagate Portal

Add Product Templates

Navigate to Product Templates page from the main menu
Click on the + button, Template Details page will open, enter the following information
1. Code: SKU
2. Product Label: Product Description
3. In Advance Settings: One Month In Advance
4. Tax Code: Enter SureTax/ Tax Engine Code. Reach out to your compliance expert for this if you do not know it.
5. Click Add Charge
  1. Name: Enter the Product name
  2. Charge Model: Per Unit
  3. Cost: Enter your cost.
  4. Sell: Price you will be charging your customer.
  5. Qty: This will always be 1.
Click the floppy disk to Save.

Edit Product Template

Navigate to the Product Templates page from the main menu
Click on the product template in the table you want to edit
Edit any details you would like to change
Click the floppy disk to Save.

Delete Product Template(s)

Navigate to the Product Templates page from the main menu
Select product templates you want to delete, the Delete button will be enabled next to Add button
Click Delete button, delete confirmation message displays
Click Confirm button, product template(s) remove from the table grid
